Technical Sales & Support Specialist (NOC 6221)

 

Credential Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and training in related field;

• Minimum of 3 years experience in consumer goods sales & support, with skills of penetration into new channels of distribution;

• Good communication skills with stakeholders, including distributors, retailers, industry partners and sales representatives;

• Extensive experience in sales and technical aspects of related products;

• Fluency in a foreign language would be highly valued;

• International travel required.

 

Main Duties:

• Conduct market & technology research;

• Identify and solicit potential clients;

• Promote sales to existing clients;

• Analyze and expand on distribution channels;

• Develop reports and proposals in sales presentation to illustrate benefits from product use;

• Assess clients' needs & resources to recommend the appropriate products;

• Provide input into product design to suit clients' needs;

• Prepare and administer sales contracts;

• Develop import and export protocols;

• Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support;

• Troubleshoot technical problems related to products;

• Assess and develop partnerships.
